A futam végeredménye a következő lett: Tomas Pekar, Dawid Babaj, Oskar Marszalkowski.

Tomas Pekar wins after eventful race

The final race of the Clio Cup Bohemia championship proved to be quite eventful, with an

accident and a penalty shaking up the final standings. Following the start, Czech driver Martin Tóth took the lead, but he dropped back to 12th place by the second lap. Slovenian driver Matic Presa, who had been running in second, took over the lead ahead of Poland’s Pawel Wysmyk and Dawid Babaj. Tomas Pekar—who won Saturday’s race and was contending for second place in the championship—was running in fourth following a handicap start. On the fifth lap, a nudge triggered a chain reaction: Serbian driver Miloradovic bumped Swiss driver Nico Wuest, who then spun Croatian driver Tomljanovic, the latter was subsequently struck by Polish driver Dudek, resulting in severe damage to the front-right side of Dudek’s car. This incident led to a three-lap safety car period while the track was cleared and the damaged vehicle was towed away. Racing resumed on the eighth lap, with Presa skillfully fending off Pekar’s attacks to maintain the lead. Meanwhile, Babaj overtook Wysmyk to move into third place. In the ninth lap, news emerged that race leader Presa had been handed a ten-second penalty for a jump start; consequently, Pekar was able to complete the final lap knowing he had secured the victory. The final race results were as follows: Tomas Pekar, Dawid Babaj, and Oskar Marszalkowski.

With this result in the 2026 Clio Cup Bohemia championship, Tomas Pekar secured second place behind Bartolomiej Mirecki—who, despite not competing in the race itself, stood on the top step of the podium during the annual awards ceremony here at the Hungaroring. In the Junior category, Poland’s Julian Smiechowski became this year’s champion, while the trophy for the Rookie category went to another Polish driver, Rafal Paprota.

Tomas Pekar: „From the beginning on it was hard to have so many cars in front of me, because on this track it is not so easy so overtake. But then I had luck, I had few opportunities to overtake a group of four or three cars whor were fighting. I tryed to do less mistakes as possible and finally I had P2 to by the checkered flag. The guy who won had a penalty for jump start so I won the race.”

Dawid Babaj: „Firstly I was fighting for the second place in the overall rookie category, it was a very important race for me. The race was actualla really nice, int he first few laps I manged to overtake two cars and after the safety car I was able to overtake my opponent in the rookie overall, so I secured the second place.”
