A F4 CEZ bajnokságban a bajnoki cím sorsa már eldőlt: a versenyhétvége szombati napján
Elia Weiss-t a 2026-os idény bajnokává koronázták. Vasárnap már az első rajtkockából
indulhatott, mögüle a svájci Gergiy Zasov rajtolt, aki szintén a Jenzer Motorsport színeiben
versenyzett. Markas Silkunas a harmadik helyről várhatta a rajtot, míg Benedek Gaspar a
harmadik rajtsorban, a hatodik helyen foglalt helyet.
Weiss remekül rajtolt, és azonnal elkezdett elszakadni a mezőnytől. Hátrébb eközben már
kialakult a csata Ella Häkkinen és Benedek Gaspar között. Mivel nem történt ütközés, a
verseny zöld zászlós körülmények között folytatódott, biztonsági autóra nem volt szükség.
Weiss továbbra is kiválóan versenyzett az élen, Markas Silkunas és Gergiy Zasov előtt
haladva. A második és harmadik helyért zajló küzdelemben eközben már változott a sorrend.
Mathilda Paatz hiányzott a mezőnyből, mivel a hétvégét az Egyesült Államokban töltötte,
ahol az F1 Academy versenysorozatban állt rajthoz. Már kapcsolatban állt az Aston Martin
Racinggel, és azon dolgozott, hogy a jövőben akár a Forma–1-ben is versenyezhessen.
A második körben még a teljes mezőny a pályán volt, ami mindenképpen biztató látványt
nyújtott. Elia Weiss, a frissen megkoronázott 2026-os bajnok futotta a leggyorsabb kört, ezzel
is bizonyítva, miért emelkedett ki az F4 CEZ mezőnyéből.
Felmerült a kérdés, vajon hol folytatja pályafutását 2027-ben, hiszen az idei szezon remek
alapot teremtett a további fejlődéséhez. Figyelemre méltó évet tudhatott maga mögött: nem
csak a 2026-os bajnoki címet szerezte meg, hanem a Nürburgring Grand Prix-pályán egy
hosszú távú versenyen is részt vett a versenycsapat tagjaként.
Eközben nagyszerű csatát láthattunk Benedek Gaspar és Ella Häkkinen között. Gasparnak
védekeznie kellett, miközben Ella folyamatosan nyomás alatt tartotta. Häkkinen a belső íven
próbálkozott az előzéssel, Gaspar azonban kiválóan védekezett, és megőrizte a nyolcadik
helyét.
Ella Häkkinen a kétszeres Forma–1-es világbajnok Mika Häkkinen lánya. Cseh gyökerekkel
rendelkező családja révén cseh színekben versenyzett, és a nyelvet is kiválóan beszéli. Ella
emellett a McLaren támogatását is élvezte, ami nagyszerű lehetőséget jelentett a mindössze
15 éves versenyző számára pályafutása korai szakaszában.
Két versenyző tíz másodperces büntetést kapott kiugró rajt miatt. Egyikük Markas Silkunas
volt, akinek a büntetés végül a dobogós helyezésébe került, a másik büntetett versenyző
Paul Andreotti volt.
Elia Weiss a 2026-os szezonban aratott tizedik győzelmét ünnepelhette. Silkunas
másodikként ért célba, ám a büntetése miatt visszaesett a sorrendben, így végül a negyedik
helyen végzett. Zasov szerezte meg a második helyet Simon Reishmann előtt.
Mindez azt jelentette, hogy a bajnoki küzdelmek még nem értek véget: a női kategória
(Women’s Trophy Class) és az újoncok kategóriája (Rookie Trophy Class) bajnoki címének
sorsa egyaránt az utolsó futamon dől el.
Ella Häkkinen: „Jól sikerült a verseny. Jól rajtoltunk, és a tempónk is nagyon jó volt. Sokat
közeledtem Gáspárra. Az első kanyarban megelőztem, ami hátulról indulva elég jó manőver
volt. Ezután jelentős előnyt építettem ki vele szemben. Szóval nagyon jó volt a tempóm.
Később elkövettem néhány apró hibát, amelyekkel lehetőséget adtam neki, hogy csökkentse
a különbséget, de ettől eltekintve jó volt a sebességünk, és a rajtom is jobban sikerült, mint
tegnap. A Hungaroring nagyon klassz pálya, igazi F1-es helyszín, ezért nagyszerű érzés itt
vezetni. Már várom a következő versenyt!”
Elia Weiss: „Jó verseny volt. Jól rajtoltunk, aztán igyekeztem beosztani a tempót, egy kicsit
kímélni a gumikat a döntő futamra. Szerintem nagyon jól dolgoztunk és kényelmes,
biztonságos előnyt sikerült kialakítanunk. Úgyhogy elégedett vagyok.”
Benedek Gaspar: „Tegnap a hátsó első lengőkarnak a csavarja az eltört, ezért leült a hátulja
az autónak és beblokkoltak a kerekek, ezért nem bírtam megállni. Viszont ez már mai
futamon nem befolyásolt, a srácok reggelre megcsinálták és továbbra is motiváltak
vagyunk. Ellával a harcot szabálytalannak éreztem, mivel kicsit leterelt, szóval a stewardok
szerint is kapni fog büntetést, szóval előrébb fogunk kerülni. A Hungaroringnek nagyon jó a
hangulata, sokan szurkolnak nekünk!”

Weiss Is Unstoppable: Claims His Tenth Victory in F4 CEZ
We already had our champion starting from pole position. Elia Weiss had been crowned the
2026 F4 CEZ champion the previous day. Starting from second place was the Swiss driver
Gergiy Zasov, who was also racing for Jenzer Motorsport. Markas Silkunas started from third,
while Benedek Gaspar lined up on the third row in sixth place.
Weiss made a wonderful start and immediately began pulling away from the rest of the field.
Further down the order, there was already a battle between Ella Häkkinen and Benedek
Gaspar. There had been no contact, so the race continued under green-flag conditions, with
no need for a safety car. Weiss continued to do a great job at the front, leading ahead of
Markas Silkunas and Gergiy Zasov. There had already been a change in the positions of the
drivers fighting for second and third place.
We were missing Mathilda Paatz, who had stayed in the United States for the weekend to
take part in F1 Academy. She was already linked to Aston Martin Racing and was working
towards her potential future career in Formula 1.
On lap two, we still had the entire field running on track, which was great to see. Elia Weiss,
our newly crowned 2026 champion, set the fastest lap and showed why he had become the
fastest driver in the F4 CEZ field.
We were also wondering where he would race in 2027, as this season had been a fantastic
start to his future career. He had enjoyed a remarkable year, not only winning the 2026
championship but also taking part in an endurance race at the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit
as a member of the racing crew.
Meanwhile, we witnessed a great battle between Benedek Gaspar and Ella Häkkinen.

Ella is the daughter of two-time Formula 1 world champion Mika Häkkinen. She raced under
the Czech flag because her family had Czech roots, and she speaks Czech very well. She
was also racing with support from McLaren, which was a great opportunity at this early stage
of her career.
Two drivers received ten-second penalties for jump starts. Markas Silkunas was one of them,
and the penalty ultimately cost him a podium finish. The other driver was Paul Andreotti,
making it bad news for both competitors.
The race finished under green-flag conditions.
Elia Weiss celebrated his tenth win of the 2026 season. Silkunas crossed the line in second
place but dropped down the order because of his penalty, finishing in P4 instead. Zasov took
second place, ahead of Simon Reishmann.
That meant the championship battles were still alive, with both the Women’s Trophy Class
and the Rookie Trophy Class titles set to be decided in the final race.
Ella Häkkinen: „The race was pretty good. We had a good start. Our speed also was really
good. I catch Gaspar a lot. I overtook him in T1, which was quite a good move from far back.
And then I pulled away a lot. So I had really good speed. Then I just did a little mistakes,
which also he brought me back the gap, but otherwise that speed was good, and the start
also was better than yesterday. Hungaroring is really nice, it’s a proper F1 track, so it’s nice
to drive F1 track and I’m excited for the next race.”
Elia Weiss: „It was a good race. We’ve had a good start, and yeah, from then on, I just tried
to manage, you know, just save the ties a little bit for the final, and I think we did quite a good
job building a nice comfortable gap. So yeah, I’m quite happy.”
Benedek Gaspar: „“The bolt on the rear front wishbone broke yesterday, which caused the
rear of the car to drop and the wheels to lock up, so I couldn’t stop the car. However, this
didn’t affect us in today’s race. The guys fixed it , and we’re still motivated to keep pushing. I
felt that the battle with Ella was unfair because she pushed me slightly off the track. The
stewards are expected to penalise her as well, so we should move up the order. The
atmosphere at the Hungaroring is amazing, and there are so many people cheering for us!”
